My Flip Book: Inevitable Death

  1. Inevitable Death - good name.

I wish I had something intelligent to say, but that would require intelligence. Your "flip" was OK. I can't think of anything to comment on and maybe that in itself is a comment. I do remember liking the sun, but wondering what the 4 symbols in the corner were - flowers? I don't remember what the story was, I wasn't drawn in by anything.

Other than my vague critique, you finished and that is a triumph in itself. These things were very hard to do, so kudos to you.

  2. Your book was the first one I looked at. I'm not going to lie, I liked it. I like how it started off cute and then got creepy. I LOVE the title as well. I don't know if you did this intentionally but I like how you played with the concept of contrasts night/day and life/death. I don't know..thats what I got from it. Good job!

  3. Your book was great in depth and story.

"Inevitable Death" - Great Title. The title alone kept me on my toes.

Loved the scenery effects with life and death with the flowers, along with the drop from sun to moon.

My favorite parts were the graveyard scene, the spike from the moon eliminating the zombie, and a grieving flower for the ending.

Overall very good contrasting and comparison techniques within your story

    Good work.

  4. "Inevitable Death".. great title for your flip book, but I kept thinking of Zombie flower haha.

The transformation of the flowers into something creepy with the zombies was a great idea. This was completely different from what I was imagining that was going to happen.

Nice ending with the flower again.

  5. The tombstones and the name really stands out when i think of your flip book. You had creative ideas with the hand popping out and the flowers at the end. Good Job

  6. I thought your flip book idea was great considering it's almost Halloween! I liked your the simplicity of your drawings and the story line! I also liked the title of your project!

  7. I really liked the simplicity of the story and the theme went great with Halloween. I wish there was a transition scene from the last tomb to the original flower again. but i liked the idea of completing the cycle and bring it back to the flower. Maybe your could of had the flowers growing next to the tomb.

  8. I loved the whole headstone, zombie, grave idea. The drawings were very simplistic but done so well and the story itself made me giggle. Good Job!

  9. the title "inevitable death" is very suiting and creative. love the simplicity ; the cyclical nature that "all things must come to an end" is a very powerful message. the paper airplane was my favorite.
